She opens by providing background to the disclosed memo prepared by Michael Prescott and released in the Telegraph.
"It is not my wish for the BBC leaning toward one side or the other, I just want it straight, unbiased and fair," he says.
In response to a query if he thinks the British Broadcasting Corporation is systematically partial, he responds: "No, I do not. To be clear, tons of stuff the British Broadcasting Corporation produces is top-tier - encompassing documentary and entertainment shows."
But he adds: "There remains significant effort that must be undertaken at the BBC."
Another previous consultant BBC adviser questioned by the committee, Caroline Daniel, says she takes the BBC with great importance and that it has a "ongoing system and lively discussion" across dynamic and complex subjects.
"Whether the BBC was ready to have a genuine dialogue and exchange and implement changes?" she asks herself. "From my perspective, affirmative, they were."
