An additional two individuals are now in custody in connection with a theft at London's Heathrow Airport in which 21 people sustained injuries by what is thought to be an irritant spray, according to police.
A man, 24, was taken into custody in Lambeth for suspected robbery and assault and a woman, 23 was detained on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery. They both are still being held, the force said.
These detentions follow a probe into an attack at the multi-storey car park at Heathrow's Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Prior to the incident, two women were robbed of their luggage upon exiting a car park lift.
A toddler aged three was one of the those hurt during the incident. Five people were taken to the hospital for treatment and were later discharged.
Officers detained a 31-year-old man on suspicion of theft and assault near the scene. He has since been released under investigation while inquiries continue.
Police were called at about 08:10 GMT after reports came in regarding several people hurt by a noxious substance believed to be an irritant spray.
The assault - an event that police said was a standalone incident and not being treated as an act of terror - resulted in delays to rail services and the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 car park for a short time.
